Yacht Club Manager – Seasonal Position
Compensation: $30–$37 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week | 10-week seasonal position
Start Date: Mid-June
Position Summary:
The Yacht Club Manager oversees the daily operations of the yacht club, ensuring exceptional member
service, effective staff management, and seamless coordination of all club activities. This role is
responsible for managing the stewards team, grill operations, club upkeep, and staff scheduling while
maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Member Experience
Oversee daily yacht club operations to ensure a welcoming, organized, and high-quality member experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for members, addressing questions, concerns, and special requests
Ensure all club policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed
Staff Management:
Supervise stewards, grill staff, and maintenance/housekeeping teams
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff performance
Create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for peak hours and events
Foster a positive, professional, and service-oriented team culture
Food & Beverage Operations:
Oversee grill operations, including menu execution, cleanliness, food safety, and service standards
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for efficient daily and event service
Monitor inventory, ordering, and basic cost control
Club Upkeep & Facilities
Ensure the clubhouse, docks, grill area, and common spaces are clean, safe, and well maintained
Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and outside vendor services
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds
Events & Programming:
Assist with planning and execution of club events, regattas, social gatherings, and private functions
Coordinate staffing and logistics to ensure smooth event operations
Administration & Scheduling
Maintain accurate staff schedules and timekeeping
Assist with operational reporting and budgeting
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications: (Preferred but not required)
At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, club, marina, or resort management
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Experience managing food and beverage operations a plus
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
CPR/First Aid and ServSafe certification a plus
Knowledge of marina or yacht club operations preferred
