Membership

Thank you for your interest in the Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club. We offer probationary regular memberships to new members. This membership is extended to the applicant, his or her spouse or partner, and any children 25 years of age or younger who are living at home. The first year of the regular membership is considered a probationary year. The Membership Committee and the Board of Directors review each regular membership at the end of the first season to determine if a permanent regular membership will be extended to the applicant.

WLYC is a private club and membership is limited by our Constitution to 110 families. The Club facilities are generally open from mid-June until Labor Day. Club activities include children’s swimming and sailing lessons, adult sailing, and social activities for adults and children. The members organize, run, and participate in all the programs and committees, as well as assist with building maintenance. Your participation is encouraged and required for the Club to prosper.

Our application process is easy; however, new members are required to be sponsored by a current member in good standing. Please fill out the new member application and have your sponsor fill out the sponsor recommendation forms.

To apply for membership to the Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club, please download the application packet below. Once completed, mail them to Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club, PO 399, Centerville, MA 02632. Make sure your sponsor sends in their recommendation. Thank you!
